Leaving a legacy to the Simon Community
|
|
Making a will is the only way to be certain that your money
and your belongings go to the people and causes that are important to you.
The Simon Community has been carrying out vital and innovative
work with some of the most disadvantaged people in our society for forty years.
Over this time it has always succeeded in maintaining its independence. But today's
competitive environment makes it more and more challenging to raise the funds
we need and to maintain this independence.
By remembering the Simon Community in your will, you can:
- Leave a meaningful legacy to those living on the streets of London, who have
nowhere else to turn
- Ensure we can help future generations, who will also sadly find themselves
homeless and excluded from mainstream society
- Help maintain the independence of the Community so we may continue to campaign
for, and with the homeless, making sure their opinions and hopes are heard.
- Help Simon continue as an effective force for change into the future.
There are two ways you may leave money as a bequest in your
will: either as part of a new will or as a codicil (addition) to an existing one.
If you have already made a will and would like information
about adding a codicil, click on the link to our page in the Charity Choice
directory, then click the 'make a bequest' button.
